Bayle Museum
Once the Gatehouse to Bridlington Priory, this unique building has a history of over 800 years and will appeal to all ages. The Bayle Museum is open on weekdays (11am to 4pm) between Easter and the end of September.
Bridlington Harbour
The harbour is the largest shellfish landing port in England, so you’re never far away from the best selection of the local daily catch. With seafood stalls galore offering whelks, mussels, crabs and more. In the restaurants along the seafront, you can try the best local sea bass, sea trout and scallops
Strawberry Fields Carboot
The carboot/market runs every Thursday from the end of March till the end of October. They also open Tuesdays during the six weeks holidays and bank holidays. Sellers to arrive between 6-9am and the carboot ends at 2pm.
Bridlington Markets
Bridlington Market takes place every Wednesday, Saturday and Bank Holidays in King Street.
Priory Town Church
The Priory was once the largest and wealthiest in Yorkshire and Kings and Queens came to visit. It was founded by the Lord of the Manor, Gilbert de Gant, in 1113 with an adjoining convent. Located on the site of a Saxon church and nunnery, that grew in status to become one of the wealthiest and most important monasteries in the North.
Bridlington Old Town
As you saunter through the ancient streets of Bridlington’s Old Town, you will notice many fascinating old buildings, untouched by development. This trail will take you to some fine heritage landmarks that will sustain the interest of both young and old. Then spend some time in the spectacular Priory Church.
Train Station
Bridlington station opened in 1846 and ‘Bird’, as the town is affectionately known, bloomed as a popular resort with the arrival of rail. Over the years, the station has undergone several expansions to cope with the burgeoning number of holidaymakers descending on the town, most notably in 1912 when the Bridlington buffet was added. One of only three original station cafès left in the UK, it’s worth a visit if only to admire the terrazzo floor over a warming pot of tea.
Bridlington is still a popular haunt with two award-winning beaches, a modern shopping centre and a duo of 18-hole golf courses, all within a 2-mile radius of the rail hub. In the summer, the station itself bursts with colour as the concourse is decked out with over 3,000 flower displays, and green-fingered fans flock to the town to see the floral spectacle.
North Beach
Long elegant promenades, clean safe Beachs, a historic harbour and plenty of traditional entertainment turn Bridlington into the perfect holiday destination.
The Gansey Girl
The Gansey Girl depicts a young woman knitting a gansey, the traditional jumper worn by fishermen.
The bronze sculpture is part of the Bridlington Maritime Trail.
South Beach
The Bridlington Area coastline encompasses some of the UK’s most rugged and charming countryside, from rocky cliffs to glorious stretches of golden sand and family-friendly seaside resorts.

Hull is enjoying an incredible resurgence with the awarding of City of Culture 2017. A real vibrant city with events and festivals running throughout the year. Well worth a visit with the newly refurbished Ferens Art Gallery showcasing some amazing art throughout the year, from Francis Bacon to Rembrandt.

RSPB Bempton
400 foot chalk cliffs, home to England’s largest seabird colony. Amazing views of thousands of birds including, Puffins and Gannets during breeding seasons (April-August). Reserve & visitor centre open daily.
